A town built almost entirely since 2000
Fort Mill's growth has been fast and recent, so its housing stock is overwhelmingly new construction. That means driveways and front walks that were poured by a production builder, at the specification the plan called for and no more, on lots that were graded and backfilled quickly.
The first ten years those are fine. Year twelve to twenty is when the apron settles where the utility trench crossed, the corner drops where the downspout has been discharging, and the panels start cracking on the drive. That is the work that comes to us here.
Back yards that were never finished
The other Fort Mill job is the patio that was not in the build. A new house with a sliding door onto a step and a lawn is extremely common, and a poured patio, a walk round to the side gate and a pad for the grill is the most used thing most people add to those houses.
It is also worth doing before the landscaping goes in rather than after, because getting a buggy across a finished lawn is not free.
South Carolina side, Charlotte distance
Fort Mill is over the state line, which changes the permitting rather than the drive. From southwest Charlotte it is a short run down, and it sits between Rock Hill and Pineville, both of which we work in constantly.

They did a fantastic job to help decide on the right solution for two walkways that are at declines at different heights. They then poured the concrete the way it was specified with the higher strength concrete mix. Grading was done very well on a sloped lot and areas of water were identified for the right runoff to ensure longevity and mitigate any erosion. Price was very competitive over other bids.

It depends on whether the base is still under it. Cracking in a couple of panels on a sound base is a repair. Cracking across most of the drive, or panels that have moved relative to each other, means the base has gone and a replacement is the honest answer. Free onsite estimate and we will tell you which.
